Admissions Counselor - University of West Florida

The Admissions Representative is responsible for recruiting new students to the University of West Florida, actively engaging in outreach efforts such as attending college fairs, visiting high schools, and building relationships with school counselors. This role includes managing an assigned recruitment territory, developing and executing an action plan to meet enrollment goals, and effectively communicating with prospective students and their families through various mediums. The representative will provide information about UWF, the admissions process, admission requirements, scholarships, and financial aid. This position requires extensive travel, often including evenings, weekends, and overnight stays, to effectively engage with prospective students and stakeholders. Additionally, this position collaborates with the undergraduate admissions team to facilitate events, assist with campus tours, and serve as a primary representative of the institution, supporting UWF’s overall mission. The Admissions Representative will also develop knowledge of application review processes and assist with application review and processing tasks as needed.
