Join us for a FREE, virtual workshop specifically designed for high school counselors. You will hear from experts in the field on topics and resources to aid you in your day-to-day college guidance conversations, supporting immigrant students, and understanding changes to the FAFSA.
12:30 – 1:00 PM - Welcome, Ice Breakers, Agenda Review
1:00 – 1:40 PM - Session 1: Tips and Tricks for Counseling Students on the College Process: As a Public-School Counselor with Little Time hosted by Renee Ferrerio, College Essay Guy.
1:40 – 1:40 PM - Break
1:45 – 2:25 PM - Session 2: Building Bridges: Partnerships for Empowering Immigrant Student Access to Higher Education hosted by Christina Harris, Jodie Anderson, and Mackenzie Gilbert from Oconee County Schools.
2:25 PM – 2:30 PM - Break
2:30 – 3:00 PM - Session 3: FAFSA hosted by Adrianne Langford, Georgia Student Finance Commission
