About

Sandria Mason currently serves as the Southeast Enrollment Service Manager for the University of Pittsburgh and has been a dedicated admission professional for almost 8 years. She started her higher education career at Savannah State University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and finished her Master’s degree in Higher Education Leadership from Columbus State University. She is currently a doctoral student at the University of Pittsburgh in the Educational Policy and Social Change program. During her time as an admission counselor at Savannah State she served as the SSU’s Chair of Staff Council 2018- 2019 and numerous staff-related committees for her alma mater. She is a member of the Southern Association for College Admission Counseling (SACAC), where she has served in the past as the Co-Chair for the Black/African American Special Interest Group and currently serves as the Co-Chair for Georgia Legislative Day with her energy and passion for fair and equal access to higher education. She is a member of Georgia Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (GACRAO), where she serves on the New Professional Committee and the Professional Access and Equity Committee. Lastly, she is a member of National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) where she served on the Ad Hoc Committee on Mental Health and Equity in the Transition to Postsecondary Education and currently is a member of the Women in PD committee. She has served this higher ed community with her energy and passion for fair and equal access to higher education.
