Dr. Jane S. Gabin, Director of Collegiate Consulting

an independent educational advisory service based in Chapel Hill, NC, has published a new book, The Shortest Guide to College Admissions (Lystra Books, 2024). It is a straightforward guide that cuts through a lot of the mystique surrounding this subject. She also had an essay published in the Academe blog (9/6/2024) titled “Why Are Colleges Still Relying on Contingent Faculty?” She participates in HECA’s (Higher Education Counselors Association) mentorship program.
