Associate Director of Transfer Admissions - North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University
The person in this position will be an integral part of an admissions team charged with the responsibility of identifying, recruiting and enrolling a large and highly qualified new student class each year. The person should be equipped to provide strategic direction to the Transfer Admissions Recruitment team. The person should be an energetic and enthusiastic individual who will articulate admissions policies and procedures to students, parents, counselors and members of the University community by participating in University undergraduate admission recruitment activities, including college day/night programs, individual visits to secondary and post secondary institutions, alumni meetings, campus visitation programs, and other events as required. Recruitment activities may involve considerable public speaking.
Will supervise team of transfer admissions counselors to reach university transfer goals. Planning, assigning, directing, and evaluating the work of all transfer staff, ensuring that quality work is accomplished within budget. Managing team in all transfer related programs on and off campus. Overseeing the processes of staff assigned special projects.
Assisting and leading efforts of the Office of Admissions with key campus offices (specifically Registrar, New Student Orientation, Student Development, Housing, and other key campus partners) to facilitate a seamless suite of services and emphases as transfer students move through the recruitment cycle from the point of application to the point of commitment to the university and enrollment. Working with Office of Admissions leadership to ensure that key recruiting campaigns within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system are properly developed and implemented. Working cooperatively and leading the coordination of efforts with the colleges and academic departments to promote and implement strategic university transfer enrollment management goals. Cultivate the various transfer articulation agreements, MOU’s, and other special programs. Will partner with Office of Transfer Articulation to optimize transfer credit evaluation process.
