Attendees had the opportunity to engage in insightful discussions with Senator Dave Craven (R-Randolph), Representative Ray Pickett (R-Watauga), and Representative Beth Helfrich (D-Mecklenburg), as well as participate in an informative session with David Hawkins, Chief Education and Policy Officer at NACAC, who joined via Zoom.

Distinguished Speakers:

● Representative Ray Pickett, a leader in higher education policy, brings extensive experience supporting North Carolina’s community colleges and universities.

● Representative Beth Helfrich, a dedicated advocate for public education, works to ensure equitable access and resources for students across the state.
